Name : Shroomy Nights w/ Aiden
Media : Acrylic
Year : 2021
Size : 4' - 2'
- My final piece was actually a collaboration between Aiden and I. When we found out we could paint a ceiling tile, both of us got extremely excited and we both knew we immediately wanted to work on one together. When we started the idea process for this, we came up with a few ideas, but this is what we loved the most. While making this, we wanted to include things we both individually liked, and then make something that we both liked. The mushrooms are what I added, and then the turtle on the moon was Aiden's idea. It took us almost a month of work, but now that it’s finished and all hung up, I love it so much.

Andrews Sunny Day
2022
Acrylic
16¨ x 20¨
My artwork is about Andrew the snail, and his sunny afternoon on his favorite mushroom. As pictured, you can see Andrew sitting on his favorite red mushroom, enjoying a warm spring day and watching the clouds, while being surrounded by tall grass, pink flowers, and lavender. I made this piece because I originally drew Andrew as a sticker for Mrs. Singleton's sister, but then he came back up in a random doodle I did on a page in my sketchbook. I also wanted to make this piece to challenge my ability to make flowers and more natural things.

Loss
2022
Watercolor/Line art
H” x W” (Size)
This piece is about mourning, and how I chose to cope with the loss of not only my grandfather, but one of my best friends. The story and inspo behind this is that I found a picture of him and me when I was little, holding hands. So I took that picture and made it into a memorial piece. I made this piece as a way to cope. I often express my emotions in my writing or artwork so I figured this would be a healthy way to do that.
